Το νεοϋρκέζικο «The Tanκ», ένα από τα επιδραστικότερα off-off θέατρα του Μανχάταν,
έρχεται για πρώτη φορά στην Ελλάδα, για να παρουσιάσει στις 5 & 6 Νοεμβρίου στο
Θέατρο Ροές το έργο “When we went electronic” που αποθέωσαν οι The New York
Times, σε σκηνοθεσία της καλλιτεχνικής διευθύντριας του θεάτρου Meghan Finn.

When we went electronic / λίγα λόγια για την παράσταση
Σχολείο τέλος! Βράδια αποφοίτησης 2011. Δύο κορίτσια «Made in USA», νεαρά μοντέλα
της American Apparel, αναζητούν τη χαμένη τους μνήμη μετά από ένα «τραγικά»
διασκεδαστικό πάρτι. Καθώς όμως αρχίζουν να τους συμβαίνουν πολύ περίεργα
πράγματα, τα κορίτσια αμφισβητούν σιγά-σιγά την αυθεντικότητα της προσωπικής
τους σύνθεσης, των υλικών από τα οποία οι ίδιες είναι φτιαγμένες, για να φτάσουν στο
τέλος να αναρωτηθούν αν ό,τι συνέβη το προηγούμενο βράδυ ήταν όντως αληθινό.
Ίσως τελικά το προηγούμενο βράδυ να μην ήταν «ένα-ακόμα-πάρτι». Ναι αυτό ακριβώς,
ίσως να μην ήταν «ένα-ακόμα-πάρτι».

The Tank Theater, one of the most influential off-off Broadway theaters, is coming to
Greece for the first time, to present the critically acclaimed by The New York

Times performance “When we went electronic”, directed by the theatre’s artistic
director Meghan Finn, on November 6th and 7th at Roes Theatre.

When we went electronic / the plot
Schools Out. Its 2011. Two Made in USA. American Apparel® models search for their
missing memory after a tragically fun night. But when really weird stuff starts
happening, the girls begin to question the syntheticness of their own materials and if
what they think happened was really real. Maybe last night wasn’t such a party after all.
Literally.
